When you work with Target Print & Mail, you can expect quality service, lightning-fast turnaround times and an eye for detail – but we are so much more than that.
If you visit our production center today, you will see a large team, expansive equipment and large-scale projects, but our business, like many others, started small.
Target Print & Mail first opened its doors in 1982 to provide Tallahassee printing services under a different name: Target Copy. It was a small campus copy shop located on Tennessee Street that served the needs of local students and businesses. In that capacity, it became a popular and well-known spot with its bright red sign and friendly customer service.
Target Copy was originally owned and operated by Mayda Williams. Over the course of 27 years she grew the business into a large commercial printer company that served clients across the region.
In 2004, Mayda’s daughter Tracey moved to Tallahassee to work alongside her mother in the family business. Tracey grew up around Target Copy. She graduated from UNC Chapel Hill and worked in Atlanta in communications and market research. In 2009 Tracey purchased Target Copy from Mayda and became Target Copy’s Owner and President, making it a proud second-generation woman-owned business. Tracey’s husband Jeremy, who specializes in marketing and business development, joined the business in 2015.
Today, we are proud to be Tallahassee’s premier provider of commercial printing, signs, mailing, promotional products and graphic design solutions. We boast a team of more than 20 experienced team members operating out of our 9,100 square foot production center at 2843 Industrial Plaza Drive. Our robust team includes project managers, customer service experts and a full-time graphic designer.
While our business may look different than it did in 1982, what made – and makes – Target Print & Mail special has never changed. We are committed to supporting our community, providing excellent service, and always going above and beyond to exceed our clients’ expectations.
